Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers before you make a move.

Ravenwood’s stated core model does not use a traditional percentage commission split. The current brokerage pricing is $165 per month and $99 per closed transaction, subject to the written independent- contractor agreement, brokerage policies, and any other applicable costs.
Agents may have separate expenses involving licensing, associations, MLS access, lockboxes, insurance, technology, marketing, education, transaction services, or other third parties. Any brokerage- specific terms should be confirmed in writing before joining.
Ravenwood is primarily designed for agents who are prepared to generate, develop, and manage their own business. Any lead opportunities or company programs that may exist should not be treated as guaranteed production.
Ravenwood is built around a lean, modern operating model rather than an expensive traditional office structure. Specific meeting, document, technology, and operational arrangements can be discussed during the recruiting conversation.
Ravenwood supports agents building their own professional identity, marketing presence, and business systems, provided all advertising and branding comply with Michigan law, brokerage policy, fair-housing requirements, and applicable rules.
Fit depends on the agent’s preparation, expectations, need for structured training, and ability to develop business. Ravenwood’s independent model may be better suited to self-directed professionals than someone seeking a highly structured, classroom-style program.
Recruiting conversations can be handled discreetly. You should not transfer a license, listings, clients, files, or confidential brokerage information until all legal, contractual, and transition obligations have been reviewed.
